Dr. Kelly Hoenig is originally from Iowa City, Iowa, and received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. After receiving her degree, she completed a specialized pharmacy residency in Primary Care at the William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Hoenig joined the Cedar Rapids Family Medicine Residency faculty in 2005.

Her areas of interest include chronic disease state management, including diabetes, as well as infectious disease. She is married to Wyatt, who is the IT Director at Eastern Iowa Health Center, and they have three kids. In her free time Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating at the Coralville Reservoir and supporting Iowa Hawkeye football… Go Hawks!
