Dr. Zadounaev was born in the beautiful city of Saint-Petersburg, Russia. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, St. George Campus, earning his Hon.B.Sc. with Majors in Physiology and Mathematics. Dr. Zadounaev completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, also spending one year as a Junior Faculty Teaching Fellow teaching physical exam skills and conducting simulation training with medical students.

Ivan is fluent in Russian and enjoys fitness, outdoor activities such as active camping, and traveling. When he is at home, he likes to play video games and cook.
