Dr. Rachel Atherton grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa, just up the road from Cedar Rapids. She went to Central College in Pella, Iowa, for her undergraduate training, and she attended the University of Iowa for medical school. She is very excited to now be a part of the CRMEF family!

When she's not working, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Grant, and their families, including several nieces and nephews. She also enjoys spending time outside with her dog, Ellie, baking, cooking, and swimming.
