Dr. Guntakandla grew up and attended medical school in the southern India. Upon graduation from medical school he worked for a few months in emergency and pediatric units. After emigrating to the United States, he did an externship sponsored by the Oklahoma State Medical Association and an observership at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

His professional goal is to provide comprehensive care with an interest in the management of chronic conditions and infectious diseases.

He enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and playing cricket and handball. Jaswanth is married to Nikhila.
