Dr. Nathoo was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He moved to Toronto, Canada, at the age of 8, where he grew up and attended the University of Toronto pursuing a degree in Medical Genetics. Dr. Nathoo then attended the University College Cork in Cork, Ireland, where he remained for 5 years.

His career goal is to become a well-rounded family physician who is able to provide a medical home to his patients.

In his spare time, Dr. Nathoo enjoys traveling with his wife, especially exploring the U.S.A.
